Experiences make the best gifts! In this case, a gift for your child (or parent) is a gift for you, too! You will both learn a new skill, spend some quality time together AND walk away with a gorgeous blanket. A no brainer! This is a special workshop designed for a parent and child (or similar) to hand knit one blanket together! One person must be over 21. 9 years old is the minimum age to attend. Come with your 10 year old daughter, your eighty year old mom, your college age grandson, your amazing niece, you get the idea! ***Please note the biggest obstacle for an 8 year old to complete this blanket is boredom! Kids can do the hand knitting part better than the adults, but three hours is a long time to do the same thing over and over! Please consider this when signing up your younger guest. The workshop fee includes ONE blanket and spots for TWO people. Please note the name and age of your guest, as well as yarn color, in the sign ups. We stock neutral yarn colors in ivory, white, pink, taupe, spa blue, light gray, country blue and sage green (see photos). **Please indicate preference in text box when booking to guarantee color selection** REP YOUR COLLEGE/PRO TEAM WITH SPIRIT YARN in 40 ADDITIONAL COLORS. We need a minimum of 7 days lead time for these colors and there is an additional $10 charge for this yarn. College, NFL, NBA, MLB, Pantone colors are available. If you need help selecting these colors, enter HELP in the text box when registering and we will contact you. We are here to help!

Cancellation Policy
For cancellations at least 72 hours before the start of the class, we will issue you a refund to your original form of payment (minus $10). For cancellations less than 72 hours but more than 24 hours before class start, we will issue you a credit to be used at a future Create Studios class. Cancellations less than 24 hours before class start will be treated as no shows and no refund or credit of any kind will be issued. Thank you so much for your understanding!
Important Info
Advance registration is required for all workshops except Drop-in Crafts. Please note that our studio is closed to the public during workshops and events. With the exception of Drop-in Crafts, no walk-ins are accepted.

If you have more than eight people interested in a public workshop, we can schedule a private event just for your group! If you have a group of less than eight people, we may be able to add another public workshop to the calendar and put your group in first. Please contact us to find out more.

Our studio has been designed with adult comfort in mind. In many of our workshops we use materials not suitable for children, such as sharp wire, glass, fragrance and essential oils, hot wax and glue, heat guns, etc. The age requirements listed for each workshop are there for everyone’s safety. We ask that you please adhere to the guidelines. Thank you so much!
