In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and decorate your own charming putz houses—miniature glitter village homes that bring vintage sparkle to any mantel, centerpiece or Christmas tree! We’ll provide all the materials, from paper houses and paints to snow, trees, twinkle-worthy glitter and more. You bring your creativity—and your favorite beverage—to sip while you craft! You’ll learn techniques for painting, embellishing, and glittering up your house, plus tips on how to make wreaths from chenille stems and faux gingerbread frosting. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a first-time maker, this relaxed, social session is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with friends, laughter, and a little sparkle! What’s Included: Cardboard houses in two or three styles including a church (specify on sign up) Paint, glitter, mod podge, glue, wire, chenille stems, sequins, textured paint and embellishments All tools provided Why You’ll Love It: Relax and unwind with a mindful, crafty activity Learn simple crafting techniques and gain a new hobby! Participants are invited to create additional houses ($10 per house) to donate to a child in foster care. Your house will be given to a foster child and their family at the CASA SHaW Christmas Market in mid-December. Start off the holiday season with some GREAT ENERGY! It's what it's all about!
