Looking for a unique bonding experience that is both educational and creative? Our dough bowl candle workshop is the perfect way to bring your group together while crafting something beautiful, functional and long lasting. In this hands on session, participants will learn candle pouring fundamentals including wax and wick selection, and how to customize their dough bowl candle with a scent that reflects their own personal style. Not only will everyone in your party create their own unique and incredible smelling candle, but the process encourages collaboration, socialization and creativity, making it perfect for a team building event or social celebration. Plus, everything we do here at Create Studios takes place in a vibe positive, low pressure environment where everyone can relax and enjoy the process! Dough bowls make great points of interest in any room, and they make beautiful centerpieces for any season! Who does not love a dough bowl candle??!! Dough bowl candles measure 6 inches wide by 19 inches long, and they can also be repurposed as a decorative item when fully burned.

Cancellation Policy
FOR PUBLIC WORKSHOPS: For cancellations at least 72 hours before the start of the class, we will issue you a refund to your original form of payment (minus $10). For cancellations less than 72 hours but more than 24 hours before class start, we will issue you a credit to be used at a future Create Studios class. Cancellations less than 24 hours before class start will be treated as no shows and no refund or credit of any kind will be issued. Thank you so much for your understanding! FOR PRIVATE WORKSHOPS: To reserve your date, we require a 50% deposit in the form of half of total bookings, or by partial payment of invoice. For cancellations at least 72 hours before event start time, you can use your deposit (minus a $100 cancellation fee) towards a future private event at Create Studios. FOR CAMPS: Camp payments are non-refundable. Please sign up thoughtfully.
Important Info
Advance registration is required for all workshops except Drop-in Crafts. Please note that our studio is closed to the public during workshops and events. With the exception of Drop-in Crafts, no walk-ins are accepted.

If you have more than eight people interested in a public workshop, we can schedule a private event just for your group! If you have a group of less than eight people, we may be able to add another public workshop to the calendar and put your group in first. Please contact us to find out more.

Our studio has been designed with adult comfort in mind. In many of our workshops we use materials not suitable for children, such as sharp wire, glass, fragrance and essential oils, hot wax and glue, heat guns, etc. The age requirements listed for each workshop are there for everyone’s safety. We ask that you please adhere to the guidelines. Thank you so much!
